Kitchen I, is an indoor facility with freezers, refrigerators, gas & electric burners & grill. The kitchen also has hot running water with counter space for food preparation and a fireplace. Outside the kitchen, we have a BBQ large enough to cook about 20 roasts. This BBQ may be used with briquettes or fire wood. We also have a covered area that can seat up to about 300 people. There are horseshoe pits and two sand volleyball courts available for rent also. This facility is large enough to handle private and company parties along with wedding parties, birthdays and family reunions. We can also accommodate parties with large blow up toys for the kids and have enough room for car rallies and boat races.

Kitchen II is a small outdoor covered kitchen with water and electricity. It has a large fire place built for cooking over an open fire. This kitchen over looks Black Lake above our boat launch.

Come to Columbus Park with your family and friends to enjoy a day of swimming in Black Lake. With our enormous amphitheater, you can enjoy plenty of space and the large roped off swimming area. There is a smaller swimming area for the younger members of your family and a swim dock for the older members, all of which are fully visible from the beach area. Bring your boat for your water activities on the lake. This area is a non-life guard area so please keep an eye on your family members.

If you want to swim, ski, jet ski, or go tubing the lake is there for your use. You may also just relax or sun bathe on the grassy beach area after a long week of work. What a better way to get away from the noise of the city life.

Do you want to take time to relax from work? Columbus Park has 30 campsites located in the shade surrounded by trees with a year round creek flowing by them. You can select a campsite with easy road access or enjoy a site around the pond area. These sites have electricity, and water. We also have one site that is strictly for tents. This site is secluded from the rest of the sites, and is set next to the creek for the continuous sound of the flowing water. Tent Hollow is the only site that does not have any electricity or water available. We have restrooms that have non-timed showers with plenty of hot water.

We also have a safe playground for the children to use with swings, jungle gym and slide.

Please Note: We have no drive through campsites.
