Arrival, parking & hours

• All park visitors are subject to day use area rules. All posted signs must be obeyed.
• Passes must be clearly displayed on all vehicles.
• All roads in Columbus Park must remain unblocked at all times. Please pay attention to No Parking Signs.
• Parking is in designated areas only. Please listen to park staff for directions.
• Vehicles without valid passes/blocking roads/in non-parking areas risk being towed, at your expense.
• The speed limit in Columbus Park is 7 ½ mph on all roads. Please watch for children.
• Rental kitchens are available from 9am-6pm. All waterfront beach access areas and playgrounds close at 8:30pm or Sunset whichever comes first. This applies to all day use guests including use of boat launch.

Children, pets & the beach

• Everyone under 18yrs old must have adult supervision at all times.
• Family Friendly Swim Wear/Clothing Required, please hide those hineys. No ‘Cheeky’/Thong Swimsuits, Nudity, or socially unacceptable clothing for a family venue. You may be asked to leave if clothing is deemed inappropriate by management.
• Do NOT stand, walk, run, sit, do cart wheels, ride bikes, scooters, skateboard, etc on the table tops. Please use our picnic tables for their intended purpose.
• No water balloons, plastic/metal/paper confetti, or “Pop-Its”.
• Stay off the swim ropes and pilings, no roughhousing/flips off or on docks. No Hard hard-bottom watercraft in the swim area. Follow all water toy rules.
• Dogs/Pets can NOT accompany Day-Use/Picnic Guests into the Park.
• NO Glass bottles/bikes on the Main Beach. Do not feed or chase the wildlife (Ducks, etc).

Boats, docks & the creek

• Dock at boat launch is first come, first serve. This dock is also meant to tie up while you park your vehicle.
• The beach area between the boat launch and the creek is not a parking area for watercraft or picnic area. This is a protected salmon creek, please leave it undisturbed.
• 200 ft NO WAKE (5mph or less) zone from any shoreline, dock, or swim ropes. Watercraft operators not following Thurston County Regulation may be asked to leave Columbus Park, without a refund. Maximum lake speed is 45mph (11am-8pm or dusk, whichever comes first).

Park notices.

This property is privately owned. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, or evict, without refund, any whose behavior is unlawful, socially offensive or menacing to others, or who willfully disregard these rules and policies. The Owners/Management cannot be responsible for accidents, injury, or loss of money or valuables of any kind, from any cause. Law enforcement will be called in the event of fraud, theft, vandalism, or any other suspected or apparent unlawful activity.

THIS IS A PRIVATE PARK AND WHILE ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED, ALL STATE LAWS APPLY. COLUMBUS PARK IS A DRUG FREE AREA. ANY AND ALL DRUG USE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MARIJUANA, WILL RESULT IN EVICTION FROM THE PARK WITHOUT REFUND. THIS INCLUDES ALL FACILITIES AND PROPERTY.

COLUMBUS PARK ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR LAKE CONDITIONS. REFUNDS ARE NOT ISSUED DUE TO ALGAE BLOOMS.

ALL DAY USE AREAS CLOSE AT 8:30pm or SUNSET, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST!

NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY … SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK!
