Plan your gathering

Before you invite the group.

Tell the office what you have in mind before sending out the invitations.

01 / THE GUEST LIST

People & plans.

Share your preferred date, expected group size, and the kind of gathering. Ask about capacity and any setup restrictions.

02 / THE PRACTICAL PART

Tables & parking.

Reserved picnic tables are listed at $20 each. Vehicle entry is separate from kitchen rental, so include it in your plan.

03 / THE SMALL PRINT

Setup & cleanup.

Agree on setup, cleanup, deposit returns, and cancellation terms. Day-use pets must stay home.

No surprises on picnic day

Think beyond
the kitchen fee.

A kitchen, reserved tables, and vehicle entry are separate items. Here’s an example using the published rates to help you ask the right questions.

Illustration only, not a package or quote. Confirm whether your table arrangement requires separate reservations and whether any tax or other charge applies.

Before the invitations go out

Gathering questions.

For group camping as well as a picnic, ask about the group tent site and how both parts of your visit can fit together.

How many people can each kitchen accommodate?

Ask the office about capacity for each kitchen. Share your expected guest count so staff can recommend a suitable arrangement.

Can guests bring dogs?

Pets cannot accompany day-use guests. Please include that detail when sharing arrangements with your group.

When is the deposit returned?

The kitchen deposits are listed as refundable, but the office must confirm inspection, cleanup, timing, and refund conditions. Deposits and cancellation charges are different items.

Your next day at the lake

Ask about your gathering date.

Include the kitchen, date, and expected number of guests.

Find your way around.
